UMP Supports Roosevelt High Students in Rocketry Tests

In April 2021, the UMP Aerospace & Engineering team partnered with Roosevelt High School students and the National Association of Rocketry (NAR) in Pleasanton, Texas, to conduct test launches of high-powered rockets. This volunteer initiative provided students with practical experience in rocketry, bridging the gap between classroom learning and real-world application. UMP’s support helped students refine their designs and test their rockets, fostering skills in engineering and teamwork. The event strengthened UMP’s community engagement efforts and highlighted our dedication to STEM education. Learn more about NAR at https://www.nar.org/

This collaboration underscored UMP’s commitment to supporting young engineers and promoting hands-on learning. By participating in such initiatives, UMP continues to inspire and empower the next generation of aerospace professionals.
